Jambalaya and Jazz Silent Auction
As a business leader, you impact our economy and quality of life on a daily basis. Now, you have the opportunity to join us in changing the lives of children and families in our region. Adoption Option Inc., Child Welfare Organization (AOICWO) provides much more than adoption services. We impact this community by providing services in the areas of Adoption, Foster Care, Licensing, Family Preservation, and also offer life skills programs for youth involved with adoption or the foster care system.
Our programs for abused and/or neglected children and their families offer evidence-based parenting classes, with the goal of reuniting families with their children when possible and offering adoption services (and other services) when it is not possible for the children to return home. In 2016, we provided more than 8,500 hours of family preservation, increasing our service hours by 18% from last year to this year. We also increased the number of families that we reached to nearly 400 hundred families which is 10% higher than last year, thereby helping many more foster care children all over the State of Michigan.
You can help by supporting a great annual event, where community leaders can step forward to help change the lives of children and families. Our 4th Annual Jambalaya and Jazz Cook-Off event will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 6-8:30 pm, at the Great Hall Convention Center in Midland, MI. You won’t want to miss sampling your favorite Great Lakes Bay restaurants who will compete in three separate Cook-Off categories (Jambalaya, Comfort Foods and Desserts), a Silent Auction and live Jazz performers.
